In the Land of Saguaro and Roadrunners
We've been here over a week and like it just fine,
Arizona is warmer than where we came from.
We'd bought a lot and an instant community
An Escapee Co-op Rover's Roost, a real "plum."
We came clear through Texas, it took us three days,
Stopped at Abilene, we'd not been there before.
It was windy, we were cold to the core.
Then came Deming, a co-op called Dreamcatcher,
MORE wind and MORE bitterly cold.
Had lunch the next day with a friend from the past,
Yes, new friends are silver--but old ones are gold.
Next came Tuscon to get the coach serviced
We were glad to get that out of the way.
Bob was anxious to move on down the road,
So arrived in Casa Grande later that day.
We've already had company, now that we're here,
We intend to stay here for a while.
We're taking a car trip beginning in April,
We'll see many of you, over the miles.
Life is Good!!
