It doesn't seem possible we've been here a year,
We've done much but we've not sent you a blog.
So as we get ready to "go back on the road",
A few remnants of this year we'll "unclog."

We worked at the pub for only a month
The business was sold, we had no job.
For a couple of months we just drifted along
Getting ready to celebrate "50 years of Diana and Bob."

That was such a great week, all the family was here,

Here's the picture of how we've expanded.
They all came to the lake, to help celebrate
No one lost, no one hurt, no one stranded.
Late in the fall I worked at the church
We both learned to perform with handbells.
We sang in the choir and made lots of friends,
By Christmas the rain filled our bay full of swells.

I pastored the church from February l to April 30,
It was fun and went by rather fast.

Bob did all the computer work and got really good,
However, for both of us, it's now in the past.

After graduation of our eldest grandchild,
We are heading east for a summer "up north."
To a small lake in the land of 10,000 lakes

In Minnesota, we will see what comes forth.
So watch for our "postings" as onward we go,
We want to explore around the Great Lakes.
We'll work some and sight-see as much as we can

Yes, we'll do whatever it takes.
Please stay tuned in and remember the drill,
If you write back, I promise to respond.

We love all of you, we count you as friends,

Wish we could see all of you by waving a wand.
