Hiway Hilton 2005, #5

Two months have gone by since we moved once again,
In upstate New York we are staying
In a place called Gilboa, in the camp "Country Roads"

A prayer of thanksgiving we've been saying.

As the journey goes on unexpected things happen,
We were released very early from the Pennsylvania job.
So we quick found this place and have a beautiful space
With a 40-hour a week job for Bob.

Diana works half that, so some time off to loaf,
We'll be here till October fifteen.
By that time of the year, the leaves will have turned
And Niagra Falls we hope to have seen.

One last thing before we came north,
To lovely Hershey Gardens we went.
Many flowers spectacular and butterflies too,
Up the road with great peace we were sent.

Our new place has different birds to feed and to watch:
Two kinds of finches, cedar waxwings and "hummers."
We're enjoying them all, they are such a delight,
They put on a great ariel show for all comers.

Locals tell us the fall colors are spectacular
And we're waiting anxiously to see.
As we go south for a winter in Florida,
We decided being "warm" this winter we'll be.

Life is still GOOD!
Bob and Diana
